A natural spring with natural spring water that has been offered since ancient 1300’s, to the true honor of the mountain. This water has long been called Matsuo no mizu, and is said to be good for longevity and health. Also, since ancient times, it has been known as a suitable water for brewing, and even now, the shrines of Matsuoyama Shrine, a guardian of the precinct, have been donated to the stone lanterns inscribed in 1758 to the stone lanterns that prospered in the southern city of liquor stores. The name is carved and left.
